This video series has been designed to help teachers utilise iPads in the music classroom, although many of our pupils use these video resources for self directed study. We have a growing number of pupils who can Garageband like a boss! So teachers, tune in and develop your contemporary tech skills.
Learning popular songs is a great way to promote engagement with music theory and composition. iPad music is an intuitive medium, making it easy to learn about instrumental arrangement, song structure and general musicianship, while requiring little previous musical experience.
Music Apps will continue to improve in function and usability, with many predicting they will inevitably become common as a teaching tool. We here at Music Hands aim to support good teaching by designing easy to use resources, plans and activities for teachers and musicians alike.
